- Madeline stops reading her book, puts in her bookmark (a napkin), and leaves the room. Benjamin immediately sees that Madeline is gone so he runs over, sits on the couch, picks up Maddie's book, throws the bookmark on the ground, and proceeds to start reading the book. Madeline returns a few minutes later. Benjamin sees her return, drops the book, and quickly jumps off the couch as if he's just going for a stroll around the living room.
- Madeline: Benjamin, why were you reading my book? Hey... you took my bookmark out! Why did you do that?
- Benjamin: That not bookmark. That napkin.
- A few minutes later...
- Benjamin: Mom calls that 'napkin' too.
