Madeline’s been planning on attending a birthday party today. She’s been quite excited about it. Yesterday afternoon, a few of our kids started getting fevers. Madeline quickly entered “disease prevention mode.”
We started hearing things like:
“Can I eat in the dining room by myself?”
“Oh no. Benjamin put his hand in the popcorn.”
“No one touch me.”
“Can we put the strawberries in separate personal bowls?”
“I think I should wash my hands again so I don’t get sick.”
